Pan Sobao Puerto Rico Bread Earrings

Pan Sobao or Pan De Manteca is a traditional white bread on our island. This particular bread is kneaded and made with lard or vegetable oil, hence the name given. It is deliciously soft and chewy with a smooth texture. We love to eat it with coffee, butter and cheese or as a sandwich.

The shape of the earrings resembles this traditional bread. The charms were handcrafted with polymer clay and sealed with varnish for protection. Each hangs from silver-toned Surgical Stainless Steel hooks. A funny gift idea for someone who loves Pan Sobao.
